Dutch early 20th century hand-painted off-white Art Deco vase

Flora Gouda Holland was one of many pottery companies that operated in Gouda during the early 20th century, which was a hub of ceramic production in the Netherlands. The company specialized in the production of hand-painted and hand-decorated Art Nouveau and Art Deco earthenware, with decorative and colourful floral patterns and geometric shapes.

This vase belongs to the ‘Paola’ range, as can be read by the signature on the bottom of the vase.
